School Governors

The school governors play an active part to ensure the success of the school. They are representatives from the staff, parents, local education authority and the local community. They attend at least one meeting a term, more depending on which aspects of the school they are particularly interested in.

Parents play an important part of the Governing Body. If you would like to know about the school governors and their role, or you are interested in becoming a school governor please see Mrs Shiels for more details.

The school parent governors can be contacted through the school. There is a governor resource base in the corridor near Mrs Shiels office. This details who are the governors, contains minutes of the last meetings and when governors are in school. Parents are welcome to look through the resource base to gain more information about the school governors.
